Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart are a perfect pair and have done exceptionally well as part of the Chainsmokers for the past several years. Nearly everyone is aware of the Chainsmokers these days, even if they do not listen to their music. They are responsible for some of the biggest hits of the last few years with songs like, “Paris”, “Roses”, and “Closer“. Alex Pall has had an incredible journey since skyrocketing to the top of the music industry. As much as there are upsides, there are downsides that come along with all that money and popularity as well, which Alex has talked about in past interviews.
Even though Alex is proud of what the CHainsmokers have accomplished, it takes a lot of work being in the limelight, especially for so long. Not only that, but it can be limiting, according to Alex, since there is a high demand for consistency and the same styles of music. Alex Pall and his partner want to keep expanding on their musical style and creating new things as a band, rather than sticking to the same kind of music simply because that’s what fans expect. The Chainsmokers have made a name for themselves for trying to connect to their fans and relate to them through their music, especially the younger generations that have to go through the world today.
Both Alex and Andrew of the Chainsmokers were DJing in their spare time while having normal day jobs that they both hated, so they had the motivation to do something better by focusing on what they loved. It didn’t take long for Alex and Andrew to realize they had something together when they first met, because they were at it for more than 12 hours a day for months on end. These days, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart are just as many brothers as they are professional working partners that are apart of the Chainsmokers.
