Hussain Sajwani: The Man Behind DAMAC

Very rarely will a man rise to a position, who will not only strive to be at the top to earn profits but will also rise to help those in his community. Such a man is Hussain Sajwani, the founder and CEO of DAMAC properties.

Hussain Sajwani is an established CEO of a real estate company called DAMAC properties. DAMAC Properties Dubai Co. PJSC is a company that was designed to develop residential, leisure and commercial properties all over the Middle East and specifically in Dubai. Hussain Sajwani founded the company in 1976, and it is presently based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Sajwani rose to success and was able to create deals with several countries such as the United States.

Just recently, he celebrated New Year’s Eve with the US President Donald Trump. He hopes to build a partnership with the Trump International Golf Club, where they both plan to create luxury villas which can be amounting to $ 2 billion in sales.

There are only a handful of CEOs that the US President trusts. The DAMAC owner has earned the reputation and trust of several leaders, as his real estate successes were sweeping all across the country and in the Middle East. Hussain Sajwani also hopes to extend his partnerships not only to President Donald Trump but also to his businessman sons and daughters Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr.

Being the head representative of DAMAC, Mr. Sajwani recollects his roots in the food industry. In the beginning of his career, he started out in the food service industry. He initially started out as a food server during the war in Iraq in 1991. They were also able to serve food to the US Army in several countries such as Somalia and Bosnia throughout the timeline of the business.

These roots, as he recalls, gave way to him building on DAMAC, as food service is still part of his present business. This served as a reminder of his roots and how he wants to cultivate a service-oriented mindset to gain great partnerships in the international marketplace.

Aside from focusing on DAMAC, Hussain Sajwani also has a philanthropic heart. He gives back to the community by providing financial help to the needy children in Dubai. Recently, he donated an amount of 2 million AED to the “Needy Children Campaign”, designed to improve the children’s standard of living.

Despite his success, Hussain Sajwani never forgets what is truly important in life–giving back to others and helping with what you have.
